WHY WE NEED YOU?

Think differently – this is why we need you now!

Can we offer the same or more than the Big 4? – Yes, because we are smaller and have a nationally recession proof niche market!

We want you…

You have straight A’s

A = Attitude – you want to share the firm’s vision and not just get a job. No job is too big or small.

You are about learning and earning. You understand it is a journey and not a race.

A = Ability – you have attention to detail, think carefully and can present your ideas well.

A = Availability – You are about the team and keeping our clients happy.

We are in your top three list of employers and you are not applying because you did not get a job in the Big 4.

What is life like at Health and Life?

We can say anything but do not take it from us, here from people like you click here for H&L case studies and testimonials.

We are not the Big 4 but operate like we are and use the same paperless US technology and processes.

Death and taxes are inevitable and  for decades we have operated nationally in both areas.

At Health and life you get the best of both worlds.

How do we know? CEO and Founder of Health and Life – David Dahm used to work for the Big 4.

We offer:

Fast career advancement

It’s often easier to move up through the ranks in a smaller firm than in a larger one. That’s a big benefit if you are looking for a clear career path. We will take you seriously if you take your application seriously.

Friendly culture

Large firms can be impersonal places to work. You need a great personality with us because you are working closely with great staff and clients. You are not working in a small room all day just processing information. Many graduates leave bigger firms after just a few years, disillusioned by their experience.

No bureaucracy and politics

Office politics is a big negative if you want to do your job to the best of your ability. Smaller firms tend to have less of it, and less red tape too. That makes it easier to get things done.

Varied work At a large firm, you might just be a small cog in a big machine, doing the same work day after day. But in our practice we have a more varied, diverse and interesting role. You do not do the same job every 6 months. The more you learn the more you earn.

A big 4 firm may have an office in Manhattan it does not mean you will get any work experience on these clients.

Why because they like to employ the best locally – like we do. It is hard to compete in an international workforce. If you work in one city or State you will usually work in that area  and not beyond its borders.

At Health and Life 98% of clients are located all over Australia from Esperance to Katherine, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth etc. Our client footprint reads like a weather map. You will receive a truly national experience that is beyond  the numbers.

Mentoring

It’s easier to interact with the Director and senior staff in a smaller firm, and  it is easier to learn from them. This is a big plus point if you are a truly ambitious graduate.

Career Security

A smaller firm offers more job and career security because you are not just another number if the firm suddenly loses a big client. The working relationships are more intimate and responsive, because you are more multi-skilled and have direct client contact you are  more valuable.

Can your future boss prove that they have a pipeline of job security and opportunity for you?
