Want to know if your practice is running efficiently? We have expanded our services to include a comprehensive and affordable fixed-fee Practice assessment that will answer this question for you. This report was developed to communicate an optimum medico-legal and tax structure that promotes succession planning and a value for your practice. The report highlights contemporary investment, tax and asset protection friendly arrangements. This comprehensive report covers a practice’s medico-legal tax structures, business models, financial benchmarks and operational processes. This information is gathered during a two-day practice visit by two consultants, after which a detailed report is prepared. What is a fixed-fee practice assessment? Our practice assessments comprise a two or more day visit to your Practice, during which time we examine your Practice from top to bottom. We look at your strengths and weaknesses and determine how you can perform better. During the visit we examine and address: Financial management issues (including GST compliance) Physical structure and layout of the Practice Benchmarking Strategic planning Marketing Human resource management and industrial relations Legal and taxation structures Computerisation Maximising revenue and minimising costs Office management and efficiencies Staff problems How It Works We send you a pre-consultation practice management checklist and other survey information gathering tools that help us prepare for the visit. Our team spends two days at your Practice. During this time, by comparing your Practice to industry benchmarks, they carefully review your financial, legal and taxation structure, and interview and work with doctors and staff. This gives them an understanding of your operational processes and needs. A debriefing session is held with the practice principals at the conclusion of the first day of the site visit. This is generally held in an informal setting after-hours so that a full and frank discussion can take place. During this session we also provide an intensive debriefing so that you can make changes straight away and immediately improve your Practice’s performance. Within approximately four weeks of the review you receive a comprehensive report of our findings together with proposed solutions and a comprehensive implementation schedule that lists action required, nominates a responsible person and a date by which the change should be finalised.
